Our old kitchen in Hatch Warren Community Centre has served us well over the years, but it was time for a full-scale makeover. Through the community infrastructure grant scheme, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council supported the upgrade of our kitchen, and what a transformation!
Huge thanks to Ryan and Josh at R&J Joinery Ltd who completed the refurbishment in under two weeks.
As the old one was being stripped out we thought back to all the different events and occasions that have made use of the kitchen over the years; from birthday parties, weddings, Christmas markets, and Summer festivals, as well as all our regular users like Warren Tots and the After School Club. And sad though we are to see the old one go, we absolutely love the new one!
The use of the kitchen is included at no cost to anyone hiring our halls.
